Hotel English |
The length of this course can be adapted to be used anywhere from an 8 to 12 units in length, depending on your needs.
The course covers different aspects of Hotel Management, such as:
Front desk, Doorman and bellman, Housekeeping, Concierge, Back Office (customer complaints), Restaurants (both Western and Chinese), General Introductions and Greetings, Discussions on the weather, Telephone etiquette and an Extensive hotel vocabulary list.
The course assumes an elementary level of English knowledge, but can be adapted for participants with a higher level of English.
Waitress Curriculum
Our waitress course consists of eight, one-hour courses which cover the basics of Hospitality English. If the course is being offered to Beginning English speakers,
we also have the option of using Chinese vocabulary as an introductory to English. We place special emphasis on developing confidence in interactions while serving, especially with foreigners.
Some units covered in the course are: At the Restaurant, Greetings, Food, Drinks, On the Table, Paying the Bill.
